Wildlife Conference by TWRA

Teneessee Wildlife Resource Association put on a Wildlife conference for the local homeschool community. We were fortunate to be able to attend this last Friday.

The first person we saw and heard from was Lynn. Lynn is a local lady that does Wildlife Rehab. She takes in injured animals and then hopes to nurse them back to health so they can return to the wild. Those that cannot return to the wild stay with her.

Baby opossums. She said many times a mom opossum might
get hit by a car, but she may have babies in the pouch that can survive.
If someone checks they can bring the babies in to her.

A hawk.
A Barred Owl

A Screech Owl.
