Anatomy Digestion Group Activities

I am a little behind in posting this. These are pictures from our last Anatomy Group Activity.

We began with 2 experiments.

Then we looked at the amount of fat in different products. The fat shows up on the brown paper.

Bread did not have much. Macaroni did not have much.

Bacon had a lot, you can see if better when held up to the light.

Another activity was for the kids to look at a few different strings that had been cut. They were to arrange them in the order they are in the body. (The esophagus, the stomach, the small intestine and large intestine.)

Then we lined up the strings in order, and had the children lay down. It took over 6 children long to make the whole digestive system if it was all in a straight line.

We also made the digestive system with clay.
